I switched from film to digital in late 2001. I now shoot exclusively with a Nikon D1X digital SLR camera and a variety of lenses, though most of the time I use a Nikon 24mm-120mm zoom lens. I always shoot in RAW format at maximum resolution so I can produce high-quality prints, though I downsample the resolution for this Web site to keep the file sizes reasonable. The earlier photos on this site (prior to mid-2001) were captured with film using a Nikon F100 and before that a Nikon N90s. I generally used Kodak Royal Gold 200 film. The negatives were then digitized using a Nikon LS-2000 film scanner and uploaded to this Web site.
